Glory to God in the Highest
and there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby
keeping watch over all their flocks by night
when an angel of the Lord appeared to them, saying “do not be afraid”
“fear not for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy
for unto you is born this day a Savior, Who is Christ the Lord”
then suddenly a great company of heavenly hosts joined in with the angel,
they were praising God and saying
